2025 U.S. Senior Open Local Qualifying - Longmeadow CC

Practice Rounds: Starting April 8th, Players may arrange a practice round by contacting the golf shop and identifying themselves as a competitor in the field. Practice rounds will be offered based on club availability within the timeframes listed below. Please do not contact the Golf Shop for a practice round prior to April 8th. 

 

Availability:

  • Weekday tee times will be available starting Monday, April 14th 
  • Saturday, April 19th & Sunday, April 20th - 2:00 - 2:30pm
  • Sunday, April 27th - 2:00pm - 3:00pm

Notes:

  • There will be a mandatory cart/trail fee of $40 (CASH ONLY)
  • To schedule a Practice Round please call 413-567-8412.
  • Competitors will be limited to one practice round and may be paired up with other US Senior Open competitors.
  • Only one ball may be played per competitor during their practice round.
  • Practice rounds are for players only – no guests or caddies allowed.

 

Starting Times:  Play will begin at 8:00am off the 1st tee. Pairings & Starting Times can be accessed by clicking the "Starting Times & Parings" tab above. There will be no registration on the day of the event, please report to your scheduled starting tee to receive local rules, hole locations, scorecard, etc. at least 10 minutes prior to your starting time.

 

Withdrawals:  To withdraw from a qualifier, please login to the USGA Portal and click WITHDRAW and select the Championship and Reason for withdrawing. If applicable, any refund will be processed within 5-7 business days. Once submitted, all withdrawals are final. If you need to withdraw within 48 hours of the qualifier, please also e-mail Greg Howell at ghowell@massgolf.org. 

 

Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 15 Qualifying Spots and 2 Alternate Spots. Qualifying players will advance to Final Qualifying for the 45th U.S. Senior Open Championship at The Broadmoor (Colorado Springs, CO).  

 

Distance Devices:  The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.

 

Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation will NOT be permitted during the player's round. Pull/push carts will be permitted.

 

Caddies & Push Carts: Players are permitted to employ a caddy and/or use a push cart. 

 

Competition Tees/ Yardage: Competition Tees & Yardage are approximate and subject to change. Play will be approximately from the Gold Tee yardage - 6,600 yards (Par 70). 

 

Golf Shop, Locker Room and Practice Facilities: The practice facilities will be open and available at 7:00am. 

 

Food & Beverage: Lunch will be available for purchase in the Longmeadow CC clubhouse. 

 

Dress Code:  Please observe the USGA dress code as stated in the application. 

 

 

*There will be no registration on the day of the event - please report to your scheduled starting hole to receive local rules, scorecard, etc. 10 minutes prior to your starting time.
